Costiq Beauty operates a webshop(www.costiqbeauty.com). As part of the services we offer, we process personal data. In this privacy and cookie statement you can read which personal data we process from you and what we do with it.

Your privacy is of great importance to us. We therefore adhere to the General Data Protection Regulation (AVG). This means that we:

- Take necessary security measures to protect your personal data. We also impose these obligations on parties who process personal data for us.
- Respect your rights, such as the right to inspect, correct or delete your personal data processed with us.
For what purposes do we use your personal data?
We obtain various personal data from you. For each purpose, we indicate what data we obtain from you, for what purpose we process it and for how long it is stored. If you have questions or want to know exactly what we keep from you, please contact us. The contact details are at the bottom of this privacy and cookie statement.
Contact and complaint handling
When you send us an e-mail message, fill in the contact form on the web shop, use our chatbot or contact us in any other way, you accept our offer to get in touch with us (legitimate interest and performance of the agreement).
For this purpose, we process the following personal data:
- Name
- Business information (if you are contacting from a business perspective)
- Contact information (e-mail address and phone number)
- Social media account
- Any information you enter yourself as message content or in our chatbot
We store these contact moments with the personal data you have provided for the purpose of conducting the contact and possibly handling your complaint. We store this information for as long as necessary for this contact or up to 2 years after we last had contact with you, because we want to be sure that we have handled your question or complaint properly.
Placing and handling order
When you place an order with us, we use your personal data to properly handle the agreement with you (execution of the agreement).
For this purpose we process the following personal data:
- Name
- Address details
- Contact information (e-mail address and phone number)
- Payment details
- Invoice data
- IP address
- Other information relevant to the agreement
We keep this data for 2 years after you have made the purchase, or the period equal to the warranty period. We keep some data longer if we are legally obliged to do so (for example, because of the tax retention obligation of 7 years).
Image
Visual material is displayed on our webshop. This visual material can be produced by us or by our various business partners.
For this purpose, we process the following personal data:
- Name
- Contact information (e-mail address and phone number)
- Image
- Any information you disclose about yourself in visuals (videos)
We do this based on your consent that you have given to us. We will retain this information until you withdraw your consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us.
Newsletters
Through our webshop, you can sign up for Costiq Beauty's newsletter (permission). We send by email a newsletter containing launches of new products, promotions, updates on the organization. Furthermore, based on your account we can send personalized messages should you wish.
To do this, we process your full name and e-mail address.
We keep your data until you unsubscribe from our newsletter. Should you no longer wish to receive the newsletter, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of the newsletter.
Service to suppliers
We purchase our products from various suppliers. In this context, we need various data to complete the order (execution of the contract).
For this purpose, we process the following personal data:
- Company name
- Business address
- Contact name
- Contact information (e-mail address and phone number)
- Financial data
- Any other information you share with us
We keep this data for the duration of the agreed contract. We store some data longer if we are legally obliged to do so (e.g. because of the tax retention obligation of 7 years).

When may we share your personal data with third parties?
Costiq Beauty shares your data with third parties only when permitted by current law. We may provide your personal data to third parties because:

On our shop we use social media buttons, which redirect you to the relevant social media platforms. This gives you the option to follow us and share content within the network. You will also see advertisements on your social media page. The buttons work because of pieces of code that come from the social media networks.
